Travians is the second browser game developed by Travian Game GmbH. It was “first released in Germany, under the name Travianer” (Travians, 2009). Travians game obtained many awards such as “Best technology”, “Best game play”, and “Best role playing game” (Travian Game GmbH, 2009). Moreover, it has been awarded “Browser Game of the Year 2007” by the German gaming site galaxy-nws.de (Travians, 2009). Version 1.1 was published on February 19, 2008. In May, 2008, the English public Beta version was released.
Actually, the game is “available in English and German” and entertains more than 100, 000 active gamers (Travian Game GmbH, 2009).
